Counties wishing to reopen vacation rentals can submit their plan to do so to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation for approval. In late March, the Florida Governor suspended most vacation rental reservations and advertising. But as the state continues to ease its COVID-19 lockdown, mounting calls have asked Governor DeSantis to restore rentals, or at least do so regionally.
