Service – Internal Audit
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Raw Materials: Examine how raw materials are sourced, received, and stored. Ensured inventory levels are optimized, wastage is minimized, and materials are stored correctly to avoid degradation or loss.
Work-in-Progress (WIP): Verified that WIP inventory is managed effectively to ensure smooth transitions between stages of production without causing bottlenecks. Standard cost calculations were reviewed for accuracy based on raw material samples.
Finished Goods: Review inventory management systems to ensure accurate recording of finished goods, proper labeling, and storage, as well as timely distribution to customers or the next supply chain stage.
Supplier Management: Assesses supplier quality, on-time delivery, and contract compliance to ensure that the plant’s operations are not disrupted by supply chain issues.

Financial Controls:
Revenue Management: Auditing room bookings, point-of-sale (POS) systems, food and beverage sales, and other income-generating activities (e.g., spa, banquet services) to ensure accurate revenue recording.
Cash Handling and Reconciliation: Examining how cash transactions are managed across the front desk, bars, restaurants, and shops. Ensuring that all cash deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations are done properly.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Reviewing the process for paying vendors and collecting payments from customers, ensuring proper recording of invoices and timely collection of receivables.
Operations and Efficiency:
Guest Services and Experience: Auditing the processes that ensure guest satisfaction (housekeeping, room service, concierge, etc.) to verify that they meet quality standards and the hotel’s brand promise.
